We believe in trying before you buy. That's why we offer a $7 Test Drive — giving you 7 full days to experience ScepterIQ with real calls before committing to a subscription. This ensures you only pay for a plan when you're confident it works for your business.
1. Test Drive Refunds
The $7 Test Drive is your risk-free way to evaluate ScepterIQ. We offer refunds in the following situations:
Service Not Working as Described
If our AI receptionist fails to function properly due to issues on our end, you're entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Service Not Used
If you haven't used your AI agent, you may request a refund within 14 days. A small service setup fee may be deducted to cover infrastructure provisioning costs.
Service Used
If you've actively used the service (received calls, used minutes), refunds are evaluated case-by-case. Any refund issued will be minus actual usage and setup costs.
2. Subscription Plan Refunds
Since the Test Drive lets you fully evaluate ScepterIQ before subscribing, subscription purchases are considered final. However, we understand mistakes happen:
Forgot to Cancel? 48-Hour Grace Period
If your subscription renewed and you meant to cancel, contact us within 48 hours of the charge. If you haven't used the service during the new billing period, we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked.
Technical Issues
If you experience significant, unresolved technical problems caused by ScepterIQ that prevent you from using the service, contact us. We'll work with you to either fix the issue, provide service credits, or issue an appropriate refund.
3. What's Not Eligible for Refund
- •Subscription charges beyond the 48-hour grace period
- •Overage charges for minutes used beyond your plan limit
- •Issues caused by third-party services, your phone carrier, or caller equipment
- •Dissatisfaction after substantial use of the service
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime — no penalties, no hassle. Just visit your account dashboard.
- Service remains active until your billing period ends
- No future charges after cancellation
- Reactivate anytime if you change your mind
Pro tip: Set a reminder a few days before renewal if you're unsure about continuing.
5. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to billing@scepteriq.com with:
- Your account email
- Date of charge
- Brief reason for the request
Response time: Within 2 business days
Refund processing: 5-10 business days to your original payment method
6. Service Credits
For issues that don't warrant a full refund, we may offer service credits or extended subscription time. We're always happy to find a fair solution.
