2. Permitted Use
ScepterIQ is designed for legitimate business customer engagement. Permitted uses include:
- Automating customer conversation handling for your business
- Managing appointment scheduling with AI assistance
- Capturing and following up with business leads
- Providing automated customer service and information
- Generating conversation summaries and business analytics
3. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use ScepterIQ to:
3.1 Deceptive Practices
- Deny AI nature when directly asked: Your AI assistant must truthfully identify itself as AI when a customer directly asks if they are speaking with a human or AI
- Impersonate specific real individuals
- Make false claims about your business, services, or qualifications
- Mislead customers about pricing, availability, or service terms
3.2 Harmful or Illegal Activity
- Violate any federal, state, or local laws or regulations
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any person
- Engage in discrimination based on protected characteristics
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Engage in fraudulent or predatory business practices
3.3 Unsolicited Communications
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications
- Initiate AI interactions with individuals who have not opted in or contacted your business
- Violate any applicable anti-spam or consumer protection laws
3.4 Platform Abuse
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract ScepterIQ's AI models
- Circumvent usage limits, credit metering, or access controls
- Resell or redistribute access to the platform without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the service for other users
3.5 Restricted Industries
⚠️ ScepterIQ is designed for general small business use. The following industries require special compliance considerations and may not be supported:
- Healthcare and medical services (HIPAA considerations)
- Legal services (attorney-client privilege considerations)
- Financial services and debt collection (regulatory requirements)
- Emergency services (911/safety-critical applications)
4. AI Communication Best Practices
When using ScepterIQ, we recommend the following best practices for responsible AI-powered customer engagement:
- Review conversation logs regularly for accuracy
- Keep your business information up to date in the platform
- Ensure your AI greeting includes appropriate disclosures as required by your local laws
- Respond promptly to any customer concerns about AI interactions
- Maintain human oversight of your AI assistant's performance
5. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warning and request for corrective action
- Temporary suspension of your account
- Permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to appropriate legal authorities if required
We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a use violates this AUP.
